Mary F. Walton

      LONE TREE - Mary F. Walton, 100, of Lone Tree, died Sunday, Sept. 23 2007, in the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lone Tree with the Rev. Vitalis Torwel and Carol Kaalberg, parish life coordinator, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

      Mrs. Walton was born Jan. 15, 1907 in West Liberty, the daughter of Louis and Jessie Frances (Brown) Kapfer. She married Clifford L. Walton on Dec. 18, 1944, in Muscatine.
