Mary I. Bender,
KALONA - Mary I. Bender, 79, of Kalona died Friday, May 4, 2007 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after one week with pneumonia.
Funeral services were this morning in the Fairview Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Peterseim Funeral Service in Kalona was in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Bender was born March 20, 1928 in Kalona, the daughter of Ira and Lena (Miller) Bender.
