Mary Jo Cash June 19, 1911 - January 6, 2004

Mary Jo Cash, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004 in the Henry County Health Center.

      The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Nick Adam officiating. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday at the Beatty Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. after which the family will be present until 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Iowa Lions Eye Bank or to St. Alphonsus Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Margaret and her husband David Carrick of Mt. Pleasant, Georgia and her husband Dwayne Mathews of Danville; three sons, John Cash of Mt. Pleasant, William and his wife Judy Cash of Mt. Pleasant, Dan and his wife Marge Cash of Los Alamos, N.M.; one brother Fredrick Schroeder of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
