Mary Joy Boysel

      Mary Joy Boysel, 86, formerly of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at Creston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Creston.

      A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.

      No visitation is planned.

      Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church in Fairfield. Cards and memorials may be sent to 808 N. Elm St., Creston 50801.

      Mrs. Boysel was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Salina, the daughter of Clarence and Nettie Fay Schillerstrom Hickenbottom. She married Lee Edward Johnston Feb. 25, 1940. He died May 9, 1952. She married Carl Eugene Boysel June 14, 1956. He also preceded her in death.
