Mary Lavanda Stutzman
WELLMAN - Mary Lavanda Stutzman, 94, of West Chester, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, following a brief illness in her home near West Chester.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman with the Rev. Dick Swartzendruber officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Washington County Minibus.
Mrs. Stutzman was born Nov. 19, 1913, near Wellman, the daughter of John J. and Ida Mae (Bessy) Swartzendruber. She married Harold J. Stutzman on Dec. 21, 1941, in her parents' home in Wellman.
