Mary Linda Edgar Swift-Wheaton

Mary Linda Edgar Swift-Wheaton, 70, of Washington, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Friday, May 8, 2009, in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a decline in health.

    Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Larry Fletcher conducting.  Burial will be at Crawfordsville Cemetery.  Visitation began at noon today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  A memorial has been established to Washington County Ambulance Service.

    Mrs. Swift-Wheaton was born April 10, 1939, in Washington, the daughter of William Harlan and Mary Alice (Hotle) Edgar.  She married Clifford Morris Wheaton on Aug. 31, 1981, in Crawfordsville.
