Mary Lois Newburg
Mary Lois Newburg, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, died early Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at her residence.
A family burial service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the Pleasant Point Cemetery in rural Mt. Pleasant. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Kiboko I. Kiboko of First United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 at the Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Iowa Wesleyan College or the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
