Mary M. Gibbs
Mary Margaret Gibbs, 88, formerly of the Mt. Union community, died Thursday, Oct. 16, in Charlotte, N.C.
Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday Oct. 21, at First Baptist Church in Yarmouth. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Paul Hooks officiating. Burial will be at Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for the In Touch Ministries of Dr. Charles Stanley. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Quincy, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Mary Tockett Lauer. On May 15, 1938, she married Ronald Gibbs in Burlington.
