Mary Mae Miller

KALONA - Mary Mae Miller, 88, of Kalona, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, in the Salem Mennonite Church in rural Keota with the Rev. John Mark Miller, the Rev. Wilford Beachy and the Rev. Steve Schrock officiating. Burial will be in the Peter Miller Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Salem Mennonite Church, where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Caribbean Light and Truth.

      Mrs. Miller was born July 16, 1919, near Mount Hope, Ohio, the daughter of Amos and Fannie (Yutzy) Garber. She married Jesse O. Miller on March 19, 1942 in Sugar Creek, Ohio.
