Mary Rose Kitch, 63, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for her daughter’s education. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary Rose was born August 9, 1960 in Fairfield, the daughter of Marvin John and Gene Lois (Schwab) Kitch. She was an ESL Teacher for Fairfield Community School District.

Mary enjoyed music, singing, her pets and getting hugs. She loved her students and cherished time spent with her daughter.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Addie; sisters, Kathy Kitch of Dubuque, Iowa and Jan (Ken) Levinson of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and aunt, Shirley Kitch of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
