Mary Ruth Seberg

      MOUNT PLEASANT - Mary Ruth Seberg, 83, of Coralville, formerly of the Finley community, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, in the Lantern Park Nursing Home in Coralville, following a debilitating illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Olson Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Leonard Schantz officiating. Burial will be in Finley Chapel Cemetery in rural Trenton. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Alzheimer's Association.

      Mrs. Seberg was born Oct. 8, 1925, in rural Wayland, the daughter of Sam and Verna (Eicher) Hulme. She married Vernon Seberg on Sept. 5, 1948, at Finley Chapel in rural Trenton.
