Mason Samuel Allen

Mason Samuel Allen, 78, of Mesa, Ariz. died Friday, April 28, 2000, in Mesa.

The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at the Chandler United Methodist Church in Chandler, Ariz. A memorial has been established for the Chandler United Methodist Church.

Mr. Allen was born March 11, 1922, in New London, the son of Charles and Nellie Allen. He married Rilla Mae Batey on July 19, 1942. He graduated from New London, class of 1941 and was a WWII veteran.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda Schaeffer of Modesto, Calif. and Diana Maynard of Chandler, Ariz.; two brothers, Dean Allen of Mt. Pleasant and Lynn Allen of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
