Matthew Burkhead
INDIANOLA ? Matthew S. Burkhead, 32, of New Virginia, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at his home.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Medora United Methodist Church in Medora. Memorials may be given to the family in his name. Overton Funeral Home in Indianola is in charge of the arrangements.
Surviving are his mother, Melody; four siblings, Mike Burkhead and wife Tina, Jim Burkhead and wife Chris, Patty Elliott and husband Tim, and John Burkhead and wife Peggy; his companion, Sarah Schwery; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Burkhead Jr.
