Mavern L. Swaim
Mavern L. Swaim, 90, of Batavia, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia, with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Interment will be in Batavia Cemetery.
Open visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present.
A memorial fund has been established.
Mrs. Swaim was born Aug. 2, 1917, near Agency, the daughter of Frank and Grace McBride Klicker.
She married John Swaim April 13, 1935, in Ottumwa. He died Sept. 29, 1969.
