Maxine Wilma Jarrard,
Maxine Wilma Jarrard, 89, of Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Celebration of life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Fox officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 15, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial has been established for Lending Hands in Washington.
Mrs. Jarrard was born March 9, 1915, in Washington, to William and Irene (Warfel) Darbyshire. On March 5, 1938, she married Doyle W. Jarrard in Washington.
