Maye Belle Foss

Maye Belle Foss, age 90, of Washington, Iowa died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.

      Celebration of life services will be held 10:30 am Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Zuehlke officiating. Visitation will begin 11:00 am Sunday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 5:00 Sunday afternoon. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa. Memorials have been established for the First Baptist Church or M.L. McCreedy Home.       Maye Belle was born May 21, 1918 in Wellman, Iowa, the daughter of Frank Edwin and Bessie Ann (Chalupa) Brown. She graduated from Washington High School. On December 22, 1945 she was united in marriage to Donald Foss in Washington, Iowa.
