Maynard 'Abe' Cerny
LONE TREE - Maynard "Abe" Cerny, 87, of Marshalltown, and formerly of Lone Tree, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree, with the Rev. Ann Rouse officiating. Burial with full military rites accorded by the Lone Tree American Legion will be in Lone Tree Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
