Maynard G. Widmer
Maynard G. Widmer, 88, of Wayland, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, near Fern Cliff Park.
A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at Bethel Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Herb Yoder officiating. Private family burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, July 27, at the church, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials have been established for Parkview Home, Mennonite Central Committee or Mennonite Mission Network.
Mr. Widmer was born on July 5, 1917, near Noble to Daniel and Mary (Graber) Widmer. He married Bessie Bawel in Wellman on June 29, 1958.
