Maynard L. Eash

KALONA - Maynard L. Eash, 78, of Wellman, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell with the rev. David Boshart and Assoc. Pastor Martha Yoder officiating. Burial will be prior to the service in West Union Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the West Union Mennonite Church, Wellman Volunteer Fire Department or Mid-Prairie Schools.

      Mr. Eash was born June 7, 1930, the son of Amelius and Dorothy (Rensberger) Eash. He married Elaine Roth on Nov. 29, 1953 in Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in Wayland. He later married Ada Mae Swartzendruber Yoder on Jan. 13, 1990 in the West Union Mennonite Church.
