Melba M. Hester

      Melba M. Hester, 81, of Mount Sterling, died at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 4-5 p.m.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 401 First St., Mount Sterling 52573.

      Mrs. Hester was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Strawberry Point, the daughter of Louis and Flora Williams Miller. She married Roy Green and later Donald Hester. Both preceded her in death.
