Melissa A. Lanferman
Melissa A. Lanferman, 20, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke?s Hospital in Chicago.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 5, at the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Jack Edmundson and Mr. Jason Goody officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at Weir Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, in Elmwood Cemetery of Morning Sun. Memorials have been established to the Children?s Miracle Network or the Youth Advisory Council of the University of Iowa Hospital of Pediatrics in Iowa City.
