Melissa 'Missy' Dawn Porter
Melissa "Missy" Dawn Porter, 22, of Iowa City, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, in Iowa City.
Funeral services for Missy will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 5, at the Faith Christian Outreach Church in Mt. Pleasant, with Pastors Mike Johnson and Brad Gillis officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin after noon on Tuesday, June 4, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory and also to the Mt. Pleasant Christian School.
