Melvin Gerling
Melvin Chris Gerling, 77, of Winfield, died on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002 at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Elwin Colson officiating. Burial will be in the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield with Masonic services at 6:30 p.m. and the family present after the service until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Winfield Presbyterian Church and the Burlington Parkinsons Support Group.
