Melvin LaVern Roush, 67, of Libertyville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at his home.

Visitation with family and friends will be at 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorial service will be

10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Parker officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorials may be made to the family and mailed to John Roush, 2147 257th St., Fairfield, IA 52556.

Melvin was born Aug. 21, 1952, in Fairfield, to Melvin Louis Jr. and Betty Darlene (Greiner) Roush.

Melvin was co-owner of Roush Tree Service. He liked working outdoors. Some of his outside interests were working in the sawmill, taking care of goats, gardening and was a hobby farmer. Melvin had an Oliver tractor that he was proud of. Most important was spending time with family and friends.

Melvin is survived by his brother, John (Cindy) Roush of Fairfield; nephews, Adam Roush and great-niece, Adrian Roush and Michael (Jessica Giberson) Roush and great-nephew, Milo Roush; nieces, Courtney Roush and April Pohren, and great-nephew, Parker John, and great-niece, Riley Jo.

Melvin was preceded by his parents, Melvin Louis Roush Jr. and Betty Darlene Roush; and one brother, Marvin LeRoy Roush.
