Melvin ?Meg? Bergstrom
WINFIELD ? Melvin ?Meg? Bergstrom, 92, of Swedesburg, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following an unexpected brief illness.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Steven Zittergruen officiating. Burial will follow at the Swedesburg Church Cemetery, with graveside military rites by the Olds American Legion. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, where the family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church.
