Michael D. Coppes
Michael David Coppes, 61, of Yarmouth, died Tuesday, July 1, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at First Baptist Church in Yarmouth. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Paul Hooks officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mt. Union.
A memorial has been established for the First Baptist Church in Yarmouth. Elliott Chapel in New London is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Burlington, the son of Milo and Doris Brennecke Coppes. On Jan. 9, 1970, he married Wanda Baker in Mt. Pleasant.
