Micheal Duane Davison was born in Jefferson County, Iowa, on Sept. 11, 1959, to Carroll and Arlene Brewington Davison. His early years were spent in Batavia, Iowa, until the family moved to Davenport. They spent some time there before returning to Batavia, which he would call home for the remainder of his life. Micheal had a love for farming which he did for several years. As a true farmer, he was a jack of all trades and could do just about anything that needed done. Mike owned Mike's DD in Batavia for several years as well as working for Ideal Ready Mix and Cargill. He enjoyed running heavy equipment and spent many years as a truck driver for several local trucking companies.

He also looked forward to a good round of golf with the boys or roasting a hog for local weddings and parties. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son who will be missed by his family and many friends.
Micheal was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Davison.
