Michael John Cornelius

      Michael John Cornelius, 57, of Fairfield, died Monday evening, Feb. 9, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

       A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Interment will be at McDowell Cemetery, northeast of Fairfield.

      Open visitation will be Thursday, with family visitation from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

      A memorial has been established to the family.

      Mr. Cornelius was born Oct. 14, 1951, in Keosauqua, the son of John Henry and Florence Haynes Cornelius. He married Deb Heston Dec. 26, 1975, in Fairfield.
