Michael L. Shanholtzer November 27, 1946 - August 22, 2003

      Michael "Mike" Lawrence Shanholtzer, 56, of Sulphur, Okla., died on Aug. 22, 2003, at his home.

      The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Krien Chapel, in Davis, Okla., with the Rev. Paul Foust officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

      Survivors include his wife, Marie; his mother of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Mike and his wife Sharon Shanholtzer of Sulphur; Tom and his wife Kathy Shanholtzer of Ardmore, Okla.; a daughter, Kathy and her husband Mel Taylor of Davis; a stepson, Brian Ayers of Sulphur; a stepdaughter, Jo Lynn and her husband Claude Beaver of Davis; a sister, Sandra Prickett of Lockridge; and 11 grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his father.
