Michael LeRoy Lillig

      IOWA CITY-Michael LeRoy Lillig, 63, of Iowa City, died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, from complications of a stroke.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz and the Rev. Rudolph Juarez officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. on Saturday. A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Lillig was born on July 6, 1941, in Keota, to Frank and Veronica (Woltering) Lillig. On July 6, 1963, he married Jayne Coffman in Keota.
