Michael Wayne Woods
Michael Wayne Woods, 48, of Marion, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating, and with military rites accorded. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa at a later date. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight. Memorials may be directed to an education fund for Mr. Woods's sons or to Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Woods was born on Feb. 14, 1956, in Leon, to Floyd Jr. and Maxine (Stewart) Woods. He married Tammy Prentis in Chelmsford, Mass. on Nov. 1, 1980.
