Micheal Dean 'Mike' Edwards

      Micheal Dean "Mike" Edwards, 58, of Wayland, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at his home, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Cottonwood Church in rural Wayland, with the Rev. Nancy Renfro officiating. Burial with military rites accorded will be in Cottonwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon, Wednesday, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the family present from 6 to 8, Wednesday evening. A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Edwards was born on June 19, 1947, in Washington, to Derald F. and Yvonne "Bonnie" E. (Ericks) Edwards. He married Linda Taylor on Jan. 25, 1991, in Washington. Previously, he had been married to Beth Richardson.
