Michelle Nicole Griffiths, 37, of Keosauqua, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Michelle was born December 8, 1982, in Iowa City, the daughter of Darrell K. and Kathy Roberta (Billingsley) Meyer. Michelle was united in marriage to Ed Griffiths in 2005. She worked at Goodyear, Sirloin Stockade and Blue Bird Midwest, all of Mt. Pleasant. Her love was running a food stand for the Van Buren County Fair each year. In her free time, you would find her riding and working her horses and spending time with her children and family. Michelle was an active member of the Hillsboro Christian Church in Hillsboro. Michelle will be remembered for her strong faith and her love for Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Ed of Mt. Pleasant; her children, Everett James Griffiths and Makayla Ann Griffiths; her father, Darrell Meyer, all of Keosauqua; her brothers, D.J. (Beth) Meyer of Palo, Iowa, and James (Carrie) Meyer of Shellsburg, Iowa; and her aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Meyer.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillsboro Cemetery, with Pastor Daniel Haffner officiating. A memorial has been established in her memory.
