Milburn D. Gerig
Milburn D. Gerig, 87, of Wayland, died on Monday, April 1, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
The Gerig family invites everyone to a celebration service of his life at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. The body has been deeded to the University of Iowa School of Medicine. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at the church. Memorials have been established to Parkview Home of Wayland and the Mennonite Central Committee. Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
