Mildred B. Shelman
Mildred B. Shelman, 93, of Washington, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at Halcyon House in Washington, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation began at noon today, at the funeral home, with family present from 7 to 8:30 this evening. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Washington County or First Christian Church.
Mrs. Shelman was born on April 17, 1910, in Washington, to John and Ellen (Gamon) Caldwell. She married J.O. "Odgen" Shelman on April 5, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo.
