Mildred E. Fickel

      Mildred E. Fickel, 96, of Fairfield, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or to an organization of the donor's choice. Memorials may be sent to 14296 Highway 16, Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Fickel was born Nov. 19, 1911, the daughter of John F. and Elizabeth Stewart Stull. She married Emery Fickel Dec. 31, 1931, in Monmouth, Ill. He died in 1981.
