Mildred Elizabeth Meyer

Mildred Elizabeth Meyer, 104, of Wayland, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, in the Parkview Home in Wayland.

    Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15, at the Wayland Mennonite Church with the Rev. Kelly Slagel and the Rev. Pam Unruh officiating.  Private family burial will be prior to the service at the North Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the church, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  A memorial has been established to Iowa Hospice.  Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.

    Mrs. Meyer was born Dec. 17, 1905, in Wayland, the daughter of William M. Kauffman and Suzanne (Nafziger).  She married Allen Roth Meyer on Aug. 19, 1931.
