Mildred Freyenberger

Mildred Louise Freyenberger, 82, of Wayland, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at the Parkview Home in Wayland.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26 at the Eicher Mennonite Church northeast of Wayland, with Pastor Herb Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Eicher Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 25 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the church, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is in charge of arrangements. Memorials have been established to the Crowded Closet, Parkview Home, Gideons International or Hospice of Washington County.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ron and his wife Ruth Freyenberger of Middlebury, Ind., and Steve and his wife Sue Freyenberger of Wayland; two daughters, Kathleen and her husband Phil Kennel of Jonesboro, Ga., and June Freyenberger of Coralville; a brother, Laurence and his wife Earleen Kephart of San Antonio, Texas; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents.
