Mildred I. Channel

      Mildred I. Channel, 93, formerly of Libertyville, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      A funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Interment will follow in Fell Cemetery in Libertyville.

      Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Mrs. Channel was born Oct. 13, 1913, in Birmingham, the daughter of Pearl A. and Mary Grammar Smith. She married Herschel Channel. He died in 1979.
