Mildred I. Thomann

RIVERSIDE - Mildred I. Thomann, 85, of Riverside, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, in her home following a lingering illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Riverside, Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the church with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's catholic Church, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center or the Iowa City Hospice. Peterseim Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mrs. Thomann was born March 28, 1923 in Riverside, the daughter of Richard and Ida (Gerot) Schnoebelen. She married Bernard Thomann on Jan. 3, 1945 in St. Mary's Church in Riverside.
