Mildred L. Harrison
Mildred L. Harrison, 88, of Fairfield, died at 9:48 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. The Order of the Eastern Star will conduct rites during the service. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials have been established to T.T.T., the Order of the Eastern Star and the Greater Jefferson County Foundation.
Mrs. Harrison was born Dec. 27, 1911, in Fairfield, the daughter of Charles T. and Mabel Nott Keller. She married Charles F. ?Bob? Harrison on June 30, 1931, at her parents? home. She lived her entire life in Fairfield, graduating from Fairfield High School and working at the Fairfield Glove and Mitten Factory, J.C. Penneys and Louden Machinery Company. She was a member of First Christian Church, Chapter E. of T.T.T., and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, square dancing and playing bridge.
Survivors include her son, C.R. ?Bob? and Ruth Harrison of Peoria, Ill.; four grandchildren including Doug and Mary Harrison of Mt. Pleasant; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Frost of Kent, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Howard Keller and Charles Keller, Jr.
