Mildred Lucille (Klopfenstein) Graber

Mildred Lucille (Klopfenstein) Graber, 81, of Washington, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.

      A celebration of her life was held Monday at Washington Mennonite Church, with Rev. Grant Nebel officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in rural Washington County. Memorials have been established for Habitat for Humanity and Mennonite Economic Development Association (MEDA). Jones-Eden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Gingerich and husband Wally of Shaker Heights, Ohio; two sons, Leon Graber and wife Marla of Denver, Colo., and Myron Graber and wife Martha of Washington; a brother, Fred Klopfenstein and wife June of Aurora, Colo.; one sister-in-law, Marilee Klopfenstein of Seymour, Ind.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1991, a brother, Glenn Klopfenstein Jr.; and a sister, Maxine Hensley.
