Mildred M. Witt

      Mildred M. Witt, 90, of Oskaloosa, formerly of Douds, died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at New Sharon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Sharon.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.

      Open visitation began at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to United Methodist Church of Lebanon or Fellows Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 13816 Highway 16, Douds 52551 or 1030 S. 18th St., Apt. B, Oskaloosa 52577.

      Mrs. Witt was born Sept. 17, 1916, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of James and Ethel Fuller Wooton. She married Charlie Witt Feb. 28, 1935, in Keosauqua. He died Oct. 27, 1983.
