Mildred Maxine Morris

KEOTA ? Mildred Maxine Morris, 95, of Washington, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, in the Washington Care Center in Washington.

    Celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota with the Rev. Dennis Hopes and Bob Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for the Washington Care Center, the Washington County Hospice and United Church of Faith.

    Mrs. Morris was born Feb. 27, 1915, near Rose Hill, the daughter of William and Lola (Summers) Sprague. She married Arthur Deane Morris on Feb. 22, 1939, in Des Moines.
