Mildred Zook

      KALONA - Mildred Zook, 89, of Kalona, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the East Union Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Pleasantview Home, East Union Church, or Iowa City Hospice.

      Mrs. Zook was born Nov. 24, 1918, the daughter of Ben G. and Magdelene Knepp. She married Raymond Zook on Oct. 15, 1939 in the Fairview Mennonite Church in Kalona.
