Miles D. Shelman
WINFIELD-Miles D. Shelman, 97, of rural Winfield, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Olds United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Chris Cowles officiating. Visitation will continue until 7 this evening at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. There will be no family visitation. Burial will be in North Wayne Township Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Olds United Church of Christ.
Mr. Shelman was born on Sept. 20, 1907, in Hillsboro, to George and Ethel (Davidson) Shelman. He married Rosamond Edwards, who preceded him in death in 1968
