Milo G. Runyon December 19, 1928 - July 20, 2005

Milo G. Runyon, 76, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at his home.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the Revs. David Doeer and Ed Newman officiating. Burial with full military rites conducted by Henry County honor Guard, Dean King commander, will be in Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22 at Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society, Children's Miracle Network and Great River Hospice.

      Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerry Runyon of Hillsboro; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Runyon of Hillsboro; and a sister, Ardyth Newman of Burlington.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
