Milo 'Mike' Stransky

      RIVERSIDE - Milo "Mike" Stransky, 95, of Kalona, formerly of Riverside, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Sorden-Lewis Funeral and Cremation Service in Riverside with the Rev. Sue Meade officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Public Cemetery. Following the committal services there will be a time of food and fellowship in the Trinity United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Stransky was born Feb. 20, 1912, in Riverside, the son of M.A. "Tony" and Catherine (Pahorsky) Stransky. He married Fern A. Heck on May 22, 1934, in Iowa City.
