Minnie LaVon Brelsford

      Minnie LaVon Brelsford, 91, of Washington, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at McCreedy Home in Washington.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at Ainsworth Community Church in Ainsworth, with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Interment will follow services at 3:30 p.m., in Grandview Cemetery in Fayette. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8, Tuesday evening. A memorial fund has been established for The Salvation Army.

      Mrs. Brelsford was born May 26, 1913, in Shellsburg, to Lester B. and Inez Rae (Hunt) Cue. On November 24, 1932, she married George L. Brelsford in Fairbank.
