Miriam Olson October 17, 1916 - June 19, 2005

Miriam L. Olson, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Jeff McPheron officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the chapel, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Trenton United Methodist Church.

      Survivors include two daughters, Jean Wilson of Panama City, Fla., and Janet Olson of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Larry Olson of Mt. Pleasant; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
